About this process
Your town is proud to annouce the launch of its very first participatory budget!
This participatory budget process will allow for local residents to be more involved in the public decision making process and engage with the town on how to best put these funds to use.
This participatory budget will take place over the next year and is structured around 4 main phases:
- Ideation (2 months)
- Workshops (4 months)
- Selection (2 months)
- Implementation (ongoing)

What is a Participatory Budget?
A Participatory Budget is a form of democratic participation in which residents are involved in the decision-making process on how public money is spent. Local inhabitants often play a role in reviewing and monitoring the process following the allocation of budgets.
Your town has decided to allocate 1 000 000 Chf to this Participatory Budget initiative, and we are asking you what you would like to see happen with this budget!
